Business Plan

Business Plan - 2018 to 2020

The annual Business Plan maps out the agency’s strategic direction and upcoming activities for the next three fiscal years. The Tribunal’s fiscal period is January 1st to December 31st. The Business Plan is approved annually by the Minister of Labour.

Memorandum of Understanding

The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is an administrative agreement that guides the mutual understanding of responsibilities between the responsible minister and the Chair of the classified agency.

The Tribunal’s current MOU was signed by the former Minister of Labour, the Honourable Charles Sousa, on March 30, 2011 and by the WSIAT Chair, Ian Strachan, on April 5th, 2011. The duration of the agreement is five years from the date of signing. The continuation of the MOU was affirmed with Minister Flynn.

Expense Reports

Expenses for Senior Executives

To date in 2015, senior executives of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal have not incurred any travel, meal or hospitality expenses.
