What is the difference between the WSIAT and WSIB Appeal Branch?

The WSIB Appeals Branch is part of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board. Its adjudicators are employees of the Board. Final decisions of the Board, usually decisions of the Appeals Branch, may be appealed to the Tribunal. The Tribunal is a separate and independent adjudicative institution.
