Appeal is Not Ready for a Hearing

If you are not ready to proceed with your appeal, complete the Not Ready for a Hearing Form and send it to us.

Inactive Appeals

We’ll place your appeal into inactive status if it’s not ready for a hearing. This may be because a party needs to obtain evidence, seek a representative or pursue other related issues at the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB). We’ll send you a letter confirming

• inactive status
• what you need to do to proceed
• when you need to give us an update
