On Thursday, September 30th, the WSIAT, along with offices of the Ontario Public Service and the Government of Canada, will be closed for the observance of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. On this day, we recognize and commemorate the tragic history and ongoing legacy of residential schools in Canada. In doing so, we honour both the lives of the innocent children who died, as well as the healing journey of survivors and their families.
Our office will reopen on Friday, October 1, 2021.
