WSIAT Access to Justice Symposium: Save the Date

We invite you to mark your calendars for the WSIAT’s 2nd Access to Justice Symposium on October 23, 2023. We are pleased to announce that the keynote speaker is the Honourable Thomas Cromwell, former Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada.

Join our experienced panels and experts from across Canada to learn about best practices in access to justice, including cultural competency initiatives, the role of emerging technologies, and building a caring administrative justice system. We will also have an update on hot topics and noteworthy cases in workers’ compensation law across Canada.

The 2023 Access to Justice Symposium will be a hybrid event with the choice to participate either in person at the WSIAT’s office in Toronto (limited number of seats) or virtually over Zoom. Captioning and interpretation in both official languages will be provided through Zoom.

More information on the agenda, topics, and speakers, as well as a link to register for this event will be available in September.

Registration is free and all who are interested in access to justice in the administrative justice sector are welcome to attend. Please feel free to share this information with colleagues you think would be interested in attending.

If you have any questions please contact Event.Coordinator@wst.gov.on.ca.

We hope to see you in October!
